BIM Modelling in Barcelona

We have opened an office in Barcelona to provide on-site BIM services across Catalonia. From the Eixample we combine field survey —3D laser scanner and drone— with the modelling and coordination capacity of the whole studio. You run the project; we handle the model.

Your external BIM department in Barcelona

We are a BIM studio that works as the external BIM department of architecture firms, engineering firms and installers. The Barcelona office is a new and growing presence: it exists to bring the on-site part of the work —field capture and site visits— closer to clients in the city and across Catalonia, with the same team and the same standards we already apply across the rest of Spain.

Surveys and Scan to BIM in Barcelona

This is where having an office in Barcelona makes the difference. Scan to BIM, as-built and site layout studies require sending someone with the scanner to the site: they can't be solved remotely. With a base in Barcelona we capture on site across all of Catalonia —Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona and Lleida— with no travel surcharge or long-trip delay, something a purely remote provider cannot offer.

We capture interiors with a terrestrial laser scanner and exteriors or roofs with a drone, register the point cloud and, from it, model the building or infrastructure in native Revit and IFC. You can see the full process on the Scan to BIM page.

How we work

The Barcelona office provides the on-site part —field capture, measurements and visits— while modelling and coordination are carried out by the full studio team and delivered in your format and to your standard. You receive the model in native Revit (.rvt) and IFC, and the work is yours in front of your client. That is the combination we aim for: closeness on the ground in Catalonia, backed by the production capacity of the whole studio.
